The TUBE drop earring, with its sweeping form is reminiscent of a trumpet-shaped flower, while the smaller EDA stud earring is a delicate, concave curve, that curls into a ring but remains open. The contrast between matte and polished surfaces gives the earrings a unique dynamism. Goldsmith Thomas Garcia hand fabricates these earrings using the anticlastic forging technique to transform a flat sheet of gold into a three-dimensional organic form.
