Almost accidentally Claudia Schmedding & Andreas Lehmann discovers new aspects in familiar, everyday things used in their jewellery. With a keen sense of aesthetics and a love of detail, they bridge the gap between classic and unconventional materials in their Marilyn ring collection.
The rings are produced in the snooker ball material Aramith and each one, like their namesake Marilyn Monroe, has its very own beauty spot. In the rings’ case, however, the beauty spot is a dot of 18 carat gold.
